What makes you green, and why does it matter? Informing the community is vital to environmental progression. Booth space will be allotted for businesses, non-profit organizations, local farmers, and student groups who feel they can contribute to the sustainability conversation.

Volunteer

Lend a hand for the Global day of Service Apr. 17th or help everything run smoothly from setup to cleanup at the celebration at Antelope Park Apr. 24th. Various time slots are available, serve as one of our beloved all-day'ers. Do your part, and receive a free Earth Day t-shirt as a thank you.

Green Meals

After the Earth Day Celebration in Antelope Park, tour your favorite Haymarket restaurants, cafes, and bars and enjoy a sustainable selection of food and drink. To participate restaurants must provide a sustainable menu item.

A luncheon is planned for April 21st at the Embassy Suites for local businesses and individuals to network and discover the opportunities available to “Make Green by Going Green.”

Poster Collaboration

This year we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. To mark this momentous occasion we are soliciting the help of local artists professional or amateur to create a 12" x 18" poster that commemorates one of the Earth Day accomplishments of the last 40 years.
